This product is genuine copper, 99.96-99.98% purity. Copper is bright like a new penny and over time it will start to oxidize over time due to it being exposed to air and oils. This is a natural process. To clean cut half a lemon, vinegar, and salt. You can also use ketchup and rinse with warm water. Do not use silver polish!
